Murray Perelman is an Individual Director on the CPhA Board of Directors. Murray obtained his undergraduate and law degrees at McGill University and was the provincial gold medalist in his year of admission to the Ontario Bar. He is a corporate commercial lawyer and trusted business adviser whose more than 40 years of practice has spanned all areas of business law, including advising on M&A transactions, business financings and partnership and shareholder arrangements. He also advises and has published articles on corporate governance matters including board and committee structures, processes and strategic planning. Murray has chaired four governance committees and is the current Chair of the North York General Hospital Board. He also serves on the boards of a wide range of organizations, including Morton's of Chicago/Toronto, Inc., ICEE-Canada Inc., Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Ontario Telemedicine Network. Murray is currently a partner at Bennett Jones in Toronto.
