Return Policy

Canadian Pharmacists Association Book Return Policy for Resellers and Customers

Authorization: Permission from the publisher, Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) must be obtained before returning products. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Requirements: Authorized returns must include the order number (located on the original packing slip), the purchase order number (if applicable) and the reason why the product is being returned. Returns must be received within 15 days of permission granted.  All products must be returned in their original, unopened, sealed packaging unless the product was deemed defective and authorization was given by CPhA to return the damaged product.

Claims: Products received damaged must be reported to us within 30 days of delivery.

Customers:

Individual customers who purchased books for their own personal use or on behalf of their organization or institution, may return books, in their original, unopened, sealed packaging, within 30 days of the purchase date if authorization is provided by the publisher. Returns will not be accepted after the 30-day grace period.  All authorized returns will be given an RMA number to include on the return label.  All returns are subject to a $15 restocking fee per book. The return freight charges are the responsibility of the purchaser, and the original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless a returned item is determined to be defective or delivered in error.

Resellers:

Resellers may return unsold books, in their original, unopened, sealed packaging, within 60 days of the ‘end of publication date*’ or ‘out-of-print date’ provided by the publisher. Unsold, damaged books will not be refunded. IMPORTANT: No products may be returned nor will CPhA accept returned products after the 60 (sixty) day grace period following the ‘end of publication date’ or ‘out-of-print date’ provided by the publisher.

Restocking Fee: Book returns are subject of a $15 per book restocking fee.

Refunds: Credits for authorized returns will be applied to outstanding balances.

Freight Charges: Return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted. For your protection, we recommend using a traceable shipping method or insured Parcel Post.

*End of publication date: Effective the date a revised or new edition of the publication title becomes available on the market.
