Mark Kunzli represents the British Columbia Pharmacy Association (BCPhA) on the CPhA Board of Directors. A pharmacist and consultant, Mark holds a BSc(Pharm) and an MBA in Health Care from UBC. His career spans every aspect of the profession: practice, regulation, industry and research. Much of his practice is in rural, remote and First Nations communities across British Columbia, and he is regularly brought in to guide pharmacies through transitions, audits and periods of change. He has worked as an investigator for the College of Pharmacists of BC, led operations for a generic pharmaceutical company through its shift to pharmacy point-of-care testing and served as co-investigator and project manager on the first phase of Genomics for Precision Drug Therapy in the Community Pharmacy, North America's first community pharmacy pharmacogenomics research project. Mark is a recipient of the BCPhA Murray Dykeman Mentorship Award and the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy Wellspring Leadership Award, and is committed to ensuring national pharmacy policy works for the pharmacists who deliver care in our communities.
