Focus group participants needed to support new sexual and reproductive health toolkit resources
CPhA is seeking pharmacists and patients who serve and/or identify as members of the transgender, non-binary, Indigenous women and Two Spirit communities to participate in upcoming virtual focus groups to support the development of new resources in our Sexual and Reproductive Health toolkit. New resource: Zovirax (acyclovir) suspension discontinuation
Acyclovir (Zovirax) suspension, the only commercially available liquid formulation of acyclovir marketed in Canada, has been discontinued. No other commercially available products are available worldwide. To help support the continuity of care, CPhA and CSHP have developed a new resource document outlining alternative options.

PEBC Survey: Share your thoughts on entry to practice competencies
The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) invites practising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to participate in an important survey aimed at gathering insights on the key competencies required for pharmacy professionals at entry to practice. Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the PEBC Qualifying Examinations. Complete the survey by June 20, 2025, and enter for a chance to win one of ten $100 prizes. For every survey completed, PEBC will make a monetary donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
National pharmacy practice research symposium: June 20 in Niagara Falls
The Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC), Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (CFP) and Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network (OPEN) are partnering to co-host Strengthening Health with Research in Pharmacy (SHARP) on June 20 in Niagara Falls. This full day symposium will focus on strengthening the health of Canadians through research in pharmacy practice and will feature keynote presentations, mini sessions and panel feedback, conversation tables and over 60 poster presentations.
