Student loan forgiveness for pharmacists one step closer to reality
CPhA is excited to share that proposed regulations for the expansion of the Canada Student Loan Forgiveness Program were published in the Canada Gazette on February 15, and that pharmacists are included in the higher bracket of loan forgiveness.

New in CPJ: Deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing needs and perceptions of community pharmacy services
Deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing (D/DB/HOH) individuals face communication challenges affecting their health, which can lead to medication errors. This study explored the experiences of D/DB/HOH people in community pharmacy and offered practical solutions to improve pharmaceutical care for D/DB/HOH individuals.

Pharmacy and planetary health: Volunteer opportunities with CAPhE
The Canadian Association of Pharmacy for the Environment (CAPhE) (a national group of pharmacy professionals with a mission to promote and improve planetary health among Canadian pharmacy professionals) is recruiting pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and pharmacy students to volunteer in a variety of board and committee positions. Anticipated time commitment is 1-2 hours per week.
