Awarded to the student achieving the highest mark on the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada's qualifying exams.

Michael Ruffolo is a 2025 PharmD graduate from the University of Toronto. He was drawn to pharmacy by a desire to use his pharmacology background to help make a meaningful difference in his community.

Michael's passion for patient care was strengthened during his clinical rotation at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where he witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of compassionate care. Now working in the greater Montreal area, his hometown, Michael practices as a community pharmacist.

Michael looks forward to continuing to make a lasting, positive impact on the health and well-being of his community and is excited about his future in the profession.
