Description:

Many pharmacists are faced with numerous work demands in a day, often challenging their time for medication reassessment and identifying opportunities for deprescribing. How can pharmacists efficiently and effectively connect with patients to engage them in discussions regarding medication reassessment? Practical tips and a case-based discussion will explore the tools available to support pharmacists to engage patients in conversations about the possible benefits of deprescribing and its possible effects on their quality of life.

*NOTE: This webinar is intended for licensed health-care professionals only. You will be asked to confirm that you are a licensed health-care professional on the webinar registration page.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this webinar, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe the role of the pharmacist in medication reassessment and deprescribing.
  2. Identify the patient specific factors when medication reassessment and deprescribing should be considered.
