Learning Objectives:
At the end of this webinar, learners should be able to:
- Apply current Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) screening recommendations to identify patients in your daily practice requiring dyslipidemia assessment.
- Evaluate patients' cardiovascular risk using the Framingham Risk Score and develop evidence-based treatment plans incorporating both lifestyle modifications and pharmacological interventions.
- Implement an approach to manage statin intolerance and determine appropriate criteria for initiating add-on therapies in patients not reaching targets on maximally tolerated statin therapy.
- Design holistic cardiovascular risk reduction strategies that integrate dyslipidemia management with other modifiable risk factors.
