Helping International Pharmacy Graduates gain the knowledge, skills and experience to enter the Canadian workforce.
IPG Mentorship and Integration Project
International Pharmacy Graduates (IPGs), or internationally educated pharmacists, are essential to Canada's pharmacy workforce, but the journey to becoming licensed can be challenging. Barriers can include high costs, lengthy processes, intensive exam preparation, and limited access to networks, information sharing, mentorship, and work opportunities in pharmacy.
Through the IPG Mentorship and Integration Project, we’ll support IPGs in overcoming these barriers with learning, networking, mentorship opportunities, and practical work experience in Canadian pharmacies. We aim to help IPGs make informed decisions about licensure and practice in Canada, and provide the connections, professional development, and experience needed for successful integration into the pharmacy profession.
