CPhA supports mandatory vaccinations for health-care workers

August 5, 2021 (Ottawa): As one of the health professions leading the charge to vaccinate Canadians against COVID-19, the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) strongly supports mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for health-care workers.

As the pace of our vaccination rollout slows across the country and we are faced with more concerning variants heading into the fall, it’s vital that we do all we can to protect our communities and reach unvaccinated Canadians. Ensuring all our front-line health-care workers are vaccinated is an important step in protecting patients and the capacity of our health care system.
