From your organization's perspective, what is the biggest challenge facing pharmacy and/or the health-care system?

One of the biggest challenges faced in Canada is ensuring timely access to innovative healthcare solutions for patients, which is crucial for managing and preventing disease and illness effectively.

How can we work together to overcome this challenge?

We can work together by fostering innovative solutions that improve access, affordability, and patient outcomes. This can include implementing patient support programs, leveraging digital health technologies, advocating for policies that promote equitable healthcare, as well enhancing dissemination of information about new therapies, ensuring pharmacists are well-informed and can provide the best possible care to patients.

What is your organization currently working on that would be of interest to the broader pharmacy community?

GSK Canada is actively involved in developing and introducing innovative therapies for various diseases, including respiratory conditions, cancer, and infectious diseases. We are also focused on leveraging digital health technologies to improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare delivery.
