Hosted in Canada for the first time since 1997, the 84^th FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is coming to Montreal, August 30–September 2, 2026. This global gathering will bring together pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, educators, and health leaders from around the world, to advance pharmacy’s role in patient-centred care and global health.

Under the theme, “One Health, One Pharmacy – Bridging science, practice and education,” discussions will examine how pharmacists can drive progress towards better health outcomes, equitable access to essential medicines and resilient health systems worldwide.

CPhA hosts a Canadian Reception at the FIP World Congress each year, a special opportunity to bring together all the Canadian delegates in attendance.

With the Congress taking place in Montreal, this year’s reception will offer an even greater opportunity to connect with your Canadian colleagues and celebrate Canadian pharmacy during this global event.

New for 2026: Expanded language accessibility

Building on last year’s success, Snapsight returns to the FIP Congress with an exciting new addition: live audio translations. Attendees can now listen to all sessions in real time in Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), English, French, and Spanish. Don’t forget to bring your own headphones to take full advantage of this feature.
