This session will also cover effective study strategies tailored to the PEBC blueprint, methods for organizing your study schedule, and time management techniques to maximize performance during the exam. Additionally, you’ll learn practical tips on how to interpret complex questions, eliminate distractors, and select the best possible answer — giving you the confidence to approach even the most challenging scenarios with clarity and focus.

Update
Effective May 2026, the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada’s Qualifying Examination blueprint is updated with the following changes for the MCQ:
- 1A: Providing Care – Clinical Care: 50%
- 1B: Providing Care – Distribution: 20%
- 2. Knowledge & Expertise: 11%
- 3. Communication & Collaboration: 4%
- 4. Leadership & Stewardship: 3%
- 5. Professionalism: 12%
These changes reinforce a strong emphasis on clinical care and patient-focused practice, while continuing to assess foundational knowledge, communication, professionalism, and system-level responsibilities.
Candidates preparing for the MCQ exam are strongly encouraged to align their study plans with this updated weighting and competency structure in advance of the May 2026 implementation. Please also refer to this updated blueprint for any changes to the OSCE weighting.
