Mentor Spotlight: Khamoye Williams
Khamoye Williams, RPh
Registered Pharmacist
Mentor, My Purpose Print
As a seasoned pharmacist with 6 years of experience in the Jamaican landscape and a recent, successful transition to the Canadian system, I bring a depth of expertise to patient-centered pharmacy care and community practice transformation. I am committed to fostering collaborative environments and implementing innovative solutions that elevate the standard of pharmaceutical care and empower both patients and fellow pharmacists.
Using my experience as an International Pharmacy Graduate (IPG), I am focused on guiding fellow IPGs through the PEBC licensure process. Having recently navigated the PEBC journey myself — starting with failing my Evaluating Exam twice, then transforming into successfully relocating to Canada, passing all exams, and launching a PEBC Mentorship business in just 11 months — I possess unique insights and a resilient, adaptable approach that I share to mentor other IPGs through successfully transitioning into Canadian practice.
My primary goal is to cultivate a culture of excellence by empowering the next generation of pharmacists, particularly those embarking on the PEBC licensure path, creating excellent Canadian pharmacists!
