I was motivated to become a mentor because I understand the challenges that internationally trained pharmacists face when transitioning into practice in a new country.

Working in a community pharmacy, I see firsthand how important practical experience, guidance, and confidence-building are for success.

I wanted to support IPGs by sharing my knowledge, helping them adapt to the workflow, and easing their integration into the Canadian healthcare system. It’s rewarding to contribute to their professional growth and help them move closer to becoming licensed pharmacists.
