Mentor Spotlight: Ayub Chishti

Ayub Chishti
Pharmacist, Campus Pharmacy
New Brunswick
Ayub was motivated to become a mentor because of his desire to help immigrant families settle in Canada and to help address the shortage of pharmacists across the country.
Mentoring has been especially meaningful in seeing IPGs successfully complete their registration in Canada. Watching them reach that milestone after everything they’ve gone through makes the experience very rewarding.
For pharmacists considering becoming a mentor, Ayub shares that helping fellow professionals obtain their licence in Canada not only supports the profession and workforce needs but also brings great fulfillment. Many IPGs face significant financial and mental burdens, and being able to support them through that process makes a meaningful difference in their lives.
