Pharmacare 2.0 - What Canadians Are Saying
On July 16, the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) released a national survey conducted as part of its Pharmacare 2.0 Initiative. According to the survey, a strong majority (79%) of Canadians support the concept of a pan-Canadian pharmacare program, but are concerned about limiting choice, administration and costs. Canadians also want a pharmacare program that covers more than just medications. A strong majority of Canadians support pharmacists and pharmacy services as part of a pan-Canadian pharmacare program.
