Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that the Canadian Pharmacists Association was originally founded on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Today, we are a fully remote workforce and are grateful to the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples who are the original and ongoing stewards of multiple Treaty and unceded territories on Turtle Island. As leaders in Canadian health care, we acknowledge the systemic disruption of culture and determinants of health for Indigenous Peoples. We commit our resources and humility, to include Indigenous Peoples, to make meaningful change to the systems that have caused harm and to reconcile for the lands that we occupy from coast to coast to coast.
