Past President of CPhA Appointed to the Order of Canada

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) congratulates François Schubert, who was appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada on July 1, 2015 for his contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical care in hospital pharmacies, and for his leadership in the field.

While President of CPhA (1991/92), Mr. Schubert provided strategic leadership that led to a number of structural changes within the Association. He was also the recipient of CPhA’s International Leadership Award in 2007 for his contributions to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Recently retired as the General Manager and Chief Administrative Officer at the Research Institute-McGill University Health Centre with more than 30 years of national and international experience in academia, research, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Schubert is the Chair of BioTalent Canada.
