Practicing with PRIDE: Top 10 actionable strategies to improve 2SLGBTQI+ health in pharmacy

In this video, Dalhousie University pharmacy professor Kyle Wilby and pharmacy student Samuel Villemure discuss their cutting-edge research program, translating it into practical strategies that can be utilized by all pharmacy professionals to improve care for 2SLGBTQI+ people in pharmacy practice.

Kyle Wilby is an Associate Professor at Dalhousie University. He is a global leader in 2SLGBTQIA+ health and education. He has published over 140 peer reviewed papers as is the founding Chair for the global 'think tank' RxSHARE (Pharmacists for Sexual and Gender Health Advocacy, Reform, and Equity).

Samuel Villemure is a PharmD student at Dalhousie University and has worked on projects/research studies aimed at making pharmacy more inclusive and affirmative for 2SLGBTQ+ people. He has published 2 papers within this topic and continues to work alongside Kyle Wilby to ensure that 2SLGBTQ+ voices are heard.
