New Editor-in-Chief Joins CPJ
OCT. 22, 2012 (OTTAWA) – The Canadian Pharmacists Journal is very happy to welcome Dr. Ross Tsuyuki as its new editor-in-chief. Dr. Tsuyuki has been the chair of the CPJ Editorial Board since 2004, so it is a natural progression for him to turn his attention to the editorial side of the journal, published by the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA).
Dr. Tsuyuki is currently a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and the Director of the Epidemiology Coordinating and Research (EPICORE) Centre, a health research coordinating centre, and the Centre for Community Pharmacy Research and Interdisciplinary Strategies (COMPRIS). He is also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Alberta, an Adjunct Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Waterloo, and an Honorary Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland.
Dr. Tsuyuki has received several awards for teaching, as well as appointments as a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the American College of Cardiology. In 2005, he was recognized as the Canadian Pharmacist of the Year by CPhA.

Established in 1868, CPJ is the oldest continuously published periodical in Canada. It features original research and review papers pertaining to clinical, social, regulatory, historical and business topics, news of interest to the profession, opinion pieces and descriptions of innovative practice models. It is published six times a year and is available at www.cpjournal.ca.
