2018 Pharmacist Drug Shortages and Recalls Survey
The drug supply in Canada continues to be affected by drug shortages and recalls. Over the past few months alone, we have experienced the EpiPen, vaccines and bupropion shortages, as well as the recall of drugs containing Valsartan. The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is surveying pharmacists across Canada about the impacts of drug shortages and recalls on their practice as well as their patients.
This survey is intended for pharmacists working in community, primary care and hospital practices. It is anonymous and will be open until December 3, 2018. The survey must be completed in one sitting and should take you approximately 15 minutes from start to finish.
Your insights on this issue are important and will help pharmacy associations develop the appropriate strategies and recommendations to support pharmacists in their continuous management of drug shortages and recalls.
