Q&A with Kelsey Skromeda, Director of the IPG Mentorship and Integration Project
CPhA’s IPG Mentorship and Integration Project is a national initiative supporting internationally educated pharmacists as they navigate licensure and integration into Canadian practice. New drug shortage resources available
CPhA has developed 2 new resources to support pharmacy teams in managing current shortages of estrogen transdermal patches and cyclophosphamide for injection.

New in CPJ: Mental health first aid training in pharmacy practice
Mental health first aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based approach found to improve awareness, reduce stigma and increase confidence when interacting with people experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. In this study, MHFA training improved pharmacist and pharmacy student confidence in assessing risk of suicide and harm.

Renewed courses available on CPhA Learning
We’re excited to share that Musculoskeletal Pain in Sports-Related Injuries and A pharmacist's guide to dyslipidemia management and clinical decision-making have been renewed on CPhA Learning. Learners describe these courses as clear, well organized and full of useful information, with engaging cases and knowledge checks that help reinforce learning.

IPPC Indigenous Pharmacy Scholarship: Application process now open
The 2026-2027 application process for the IPPC Indigenous Pharmacy Scholarship is now open! Developed to support Indigenous representation in pharmacy programs, this scholarship is open to First Nations, Métis and Inuit individuals entering or enrolled in post-secondary pharmacy education programs. Deadline to apply is June 22.
