Pharmacy Appreciation Month (PAM) returns this March, and we’re getting ready to celebrate the pharmacy teams Canadians rely on every day.

This year, PAM will shine a spotlight on the people behind the pharmacy counter and support Pharmacists CAN, CPhA’s national campaign focused on enabling pharmacists to provide the care they are educated and trusted to deliver.

To kick things off, we’re inviting pharmacy teams from across Canada to be part of the campaign!

PAM 2026: Call for photos!

We’d love to feature you and your pharmacy team in our PAM 2026 materials this March.

Snap a photo of yourself or your pharmacy team in action and email it to socialmedia@pharmacists.ca.

Please include:

  • the name of your pharmacy
  • the city and province
  • the full names of any team members in the photo

Your photos help show Canadians what pharmacy teams do every day — and the impact pharmacists can have in communities across the country.

Pharmacists are educated and trained to deliver a wide range of front-line health-care services, yet in many parts of Canada they can’t use their full education in practice.

Pharmacists CAN is a national campaign to help governments and the public better understand what pharmacists are trained to do — and why fully enabling pharmacists across Canada can improve access to care for patients.

A national benchmark for pharmacy practice

As part of this work, CPhA released the National Benchmark for Pharmacy Practice, a first-of-its-kind reference that outlines the health-care services pharmacists are educated to provide.
