Heart Failure Symposium

An estimated 750,000 Canadians live with heart failure—and that number is growing as our population ages. While pharmacotherapy and other treatment options are evolving rapidly, more complex medication regimens mean that pharmacy teams are increasingly well-positioned to support patients living with heart failure and to help fill treatment gaps.

The Canadian Pharmacy Heart Failure Symposium is the first Canadian heart failure conference aimed specifically at pharmacy professionals in all practice settings. This one-day virtual event will provide an overview and update on the latest information and evidence in the heart failure space. Session topics include diagnosis and assessment, the role of the pharmacist, guideline updates, patient perspectives and more.
