Learning Objectives

  1. Learn of the perceptions of pharmacists regarding the barriers and facilitators to providing opioid stewardship services within the context of Health Canada’s CDSA exemptions.
  2. Gain an understanding of three main themes that influence pharmacists’ motivation and ability to fully utilize the CDSA exemptions to optimize patient care.
  3. Gain an understanding of how jurisdictional factors can influence how the CDSA exemptions are utilized across Canada.
