Product Marketing Manager - 1 year contract

Position Type: Full time, 1 year contract (maternity leave)

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is actively recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager on a 1-year term to join our Corporate Services department. We are a fully remote workforce and are looking for someone who is able to be fully productive, efficient and effective in a remote environment.

Job Summary

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the CPhA public website and eCommerce platform, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from design to implementation.

This position also supports the design, deployment, and reporting of other CPhA digital products and projects as needed.

The Product Marketing Manager coordinates with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure we deliver projects effectively and efficiently on time and within budget, and have a user-friendly, professional website, and effective eCommerce experience.

Duties and Tasks

Website & E-commerce Platform

  • Managing all aspects of the CPhA public-facing website and coordinate updates with stakeholders, designers, and content owners.
  • Maintaining high standards for content posted to the website, the integrity of the information architecture, the usability and accessibility of the website.
  • Following brand standards, maintaining consistency of brand guidelines across the website.
  • Managing the eCommerce platform, maintaining the integration of the CRM database and eCommerce system and developing and maintaining processes to ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Testing all eCommerce development projects prior to production deployment to ensure the application is free of bugs, is useable and maximizes ROI.
  • Collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders to develop and maintain roadmaps.
  • Developing user stories, managing and prioritizing work with development resources: providing the development team with clarity when required.

Digital Product Projects

  • Supporting and collaborating with content and solution development teams to ensure that digital product projects are effectively implemented within the agreed time and cost.
  • Conducting user research, new product testing to constantly collect user feedback and propose actions to remove pain points.
  • Supporting the set?up and dissemination of surveys via the website or email campaigns.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Regular contact with all CPhA teams


  • Regular contact with representatives from multiple third-party vendors (Salesforce, Nova Networks, AWS, Wistia, Survey Monkey)



  • University degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 5 (five) years of experience in a similar position and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Prior experience in Marketing, Product Marketing or Product Management.
  • Working knowledge of CRM solution. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Website administration including content management and testing eCommerce components.
  • Product / feature launch experience an asset.


  • Digitally savvy.
  • Ability to multi?task and manage multiple projects effectively, excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Critical thinking and high attention to detail.
  • A team player, able to work well in a cross?functional team environment.
  • Good working knowledge of, marketing automation software (preferable Pardot), (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM), CRM software, i.e., salesforce, Survey Software (e.g., Survey Monkey)
  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence for issue/task management and documentation.
  • Experience in HTML, CSS a plus.
  • Ability to display a commitment to and advocate for diversity and inclusion.

Salary Range

  • $70,000 - $80,000.
