Mentorship Coordinator

The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) is actively recruiting for a Mentorship Coordinator to join our Public & Professional Affairs department.  

We are a fully remote workforce and are looking for someone who is able to be fully productive, efficient and effective in a remote environment.

Job Summary

The Mentorship Coordinator is responsible for creating, coordinating, and managing mentorship relationships and activities across various mentorship programs ensuring that both mentors and mentees have a positive and impactful experience.

Duties and Tasks

  • The Mentorship Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of mentorship programs, including training and orientation for mentors, mentees, and host sites.
  • Identifying and recruiting potential mentors and mentees, matching them based on their goals and needs.
  • Conducting interviews and assessments to understand mentees' goals and mentor qualifications.
  • Coordinating payments to contractors, mentors and mentees involved in the program, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
  • Managing all participant communications and providing ongoing support and guidance to mentors and mentees throughout their mentorship journey.
  • Organizing mentorship events and learning sessions.
  • Monitoring and evaluating mentorship relationships to ensure they are successful and providing value to participants.
  • Collecting and analyzing feedback to continuously improve the mentorship program.
  • Maintaining detailed records and data related to mentorship relationships.
  • Assisting with marketing, evaluation and reporting.
  • Championing equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the project.
  • Representing CPhA at recruitment events and conferences.
  • Occasional travel for conferences and events may be required



  • Post-secondary degree, diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field.


  • Proven relevant experience.  
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and/or health care is an asset.

  • Fluency in oral and written English is required. Fluency in French is a strong asset
  • Ability to display a commitment to and advocate for diversity and inclusion

Salary Range

  • $50 - $65,000
