e-Therapeutics Highlights and the eT-McGill Study

e-Therapeutics Highlights

To provide easy access to current, practice-relevant information that may be helpful in caring for your patients, the Canadian Pharmacists Association’s (CPhA) editors have selected interesting Highlights from each of the topics in e-Therapeutics.

You will begin receiving these e-Therapeutics Highlights after your subscription to e-Therapeutics begins.

Twice a week subscribers will receive a short email from CPhA that will include a new e-Therapeutics Highlight. By clicking the Highlight in the message, you will open a web page showing the featured Highlight along with previous e-Therapeutics Highlights that have been sent.

The eT-McGill Study on e-Therapeutics

The e-Therapeutics Highlights are a component of the eT-McGill Study, a collaborative project between CPhA and McGill University. The study aims to assess how clinical information in e-Therapeutics is applied in practice by health professionals and is sponsored by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the ‘Fonds de Recherche en Santé du Québec’ (FRSQ).

As an e-Therapeutics subscriber, feedback on your application of the therapeutic content is valuable to the study's success.

Participating in the eT-McGill Study

When you receive an email with an e-Therapeutics Highlight, click the link to go to the web page and from there follow the link for the featured Highlight. This will open the therapeutic topic that contains the Highlight. Next to it you will find a ‘Useful Info’ button. By answering the questionnaire that opens when you click this button, you will help us to better understand your information needs and improve our ability to meet those needs. Responding to the questionnaire is voluntary. The information collected for the study will be anonymous and no identifying information will be shared with the researchers.
