Pharmacist Awareness Week (PAW) is the perfect opportunity for you to share with your patients the vital role of "today's pharmacist" in their overall health care.
PAW 2010 is over, but you can still take action to help your patients understand the important role of pharmacists in primary health care teams, homecare and medication management services. Let's continue to reinforce our services and encourage our patients to make better use of our expertise by including us in their ‘picture’ of good health.

Safe Medicines for Seniors: A Guide for Caregivers was produced in partnership with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and the Canadian Healthcare Association (CHA) through a financial contribution from Health Canada. This informative guide is useful for anyone helping or taking care of a senior.
Knowledge is the best medicine: Provide your patients with information on using medications safely and a bonus medication record with this helpful guide, available from Rx&D (Canada’s Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies).
We've partnered once again with Pharmacy Practice, Rogers Media and AstraZeneca to bring you this year’s theme: Bring your pharmacist into the picture. Watch for your poster in an upcoming issue of Pharmacy Practice.
