Committees established by CPhA, or whose formation is facilitated by CPhA, will be one of the following five types:

• Standing Board Committees that work on behalf of and report to the Board
• Ad Hoc Committees that work on behalf of the Board and report to the Board
• Coalitions (task forces and partnerships) that CPhA has agreed to organize or to facilitate
• Advisory Committees to various CPhA departments that do not report to the Board, but whose work is reported through the Executive Director
• Editorial Advisory Boards or Committees for a specific publication or publishing project that report to the publication's project manager
